Voice of Morrison

Unlike most people, I'm still a user of Pandora. I have not turned away from the ad interrupted, limited song skip app. I have been using Pandora since the fifth grade, the year I got my first Apple product. Don't judge, but I still have the same account with my embarrassing AOL email address.
Lately, I've decided to branch out from my classic rock stations, and get little in tuned with modern groups. For the past few days, my ears have been entertained by the Alabama Shakes' station. Let me tell you, it is a good station!
Not only I have been blasting out to Brittany Howard's strong, soulful voice, I have come across the works of the White Stripes, Black Keys, and my new favorite, Van Morrison. I'm not talking about the "Brown Eyed Girl" Morrison, but the sophisticated, "Crazy Love" Morrison.
I was taken aback when I heard this different side of Mr. Morrison. I was use to this upbeat guy singing about "making love in the green grass". To my surprise, I was introduced to a musician that voice was far different from what you would expect from an Irish singer. His voice is so captivating with a bluesy, soulful tone. He almost reminds me of a studio version of Otis Redding. Oh, and his lyrics are flat out amazing. The lyrics are romantic without making him sound like a hopeless romantic or like a guy that just lost his woman. It's the kind of music that you would hear at a chill wedding reception.
I'm glad with my decision of branching out. I unexpectedly came across a singer that I could ease my mind and take away to a loveland.

                                                                 Thanks Mr. Morrison,
